Summary PPP Chairman to address the people via Hologram as part of his election campaign.

(WebDesk) - Prominent leaders of the main political parties have kicked off their campaigns by moving in and amongst the people of their constituencies. Spending time amongst the people becomes the top priority for these leaders as they look to bag as many votes as they possibly can for the upcoming elections.

Most recently, the 29-year-old’s convoy was fiercely pelted with stones in Bihar Colony as he was on his way to PPP’s homeground Lyari to address the locals.

After the incident, speaking to the media, party leader Sherry Rehman accused the incident as ‘planned’ and ‘engineered manuever to disturb PPP’s election campaign activities’. She further demanded that the Election Commission of Pakistan take notice of the accident.

Such public outrages have recently been observed. Many politicians were being forced to face the music by the voters. Previously, PTI’s Sikander Bosan, PPP’s Khurshid Ahmad Shah and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi were also a target of collective public outrage. Most recently, PTI chairman Imran Khan, has also faced harsh reaction of people in Bannu.

Probably as a consequence to the Lyari incident, Benazir Bhutto’s son and PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto has been advised not to engage people directly in street politics to avoid any possible noxious activities and better to address the people via hologram.

Bilawal has previously addressed his workers via hologram. Video: Youtube.

As part of his election campaign, PPP’s chairman will address party workers through hologram technology at eleven different places across the country today.

Many have criticised this decision saying that Bilawal should be amongst the people so that they don’t feel left out or unworthy. Some have also been frustrated by this since they were eagerly awaiting to meet their leader in such gatherings.
